Impressive line up for festival

funfair

An impressive line up of top rides was assembled for the second Northampton Town Festival held on the town’s Old Racecourse during the first weekend of July. The fun fair also opened for business for a few hours on Friday evening when there was a shower, though that was the only time rain fell and there was sunshine throughout the two main days. When we left the ground during the early Saturday evening there appeared to be a good attendance.

Chasing the Royal Blues

As has been the case now for several years, the Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust held their Royal Blue Run over a three day weekend in June. The run, which is exclusively for ex Royal Blue coaches, or coaches that would have been used on feeder or relief journeys, aims to follow old Royal Blue routes as closely as possible.
