Fun for all the family at the Hoppings 2018

Funfair

The Hoppings at Newcastle Town Moor, which ran from Friday June 22 to Saturday June 30 this year, presented children with a spectacular choice, with nearly 100 children’s rides available at the fair which was open for its 136th year.

Madeline Murphy’s account is on page 4.

Circus

Jay Miller’s Circus on tour

Circus

Jay Miller’s Circus opened their 2018 tour at Verwood in Dorset in March. The show continues to use the smart white and red striped two pole Big Top, inside which are two rows of ringside chairs around the square performance area and three blocks of tiered benches. New this season are LED star cloths to each side of the artiste’s entrance.

Andy Payne’s review is on page 24.

Preservation

Yet another sunny Woolpit

pres

Mark Andrew Pardoe’s report is on page 31.
