Electrocoin and UDC held their Park Avenue Open Day at their premises in north London on 4 June, when coin-op industry professionals gathered to catch up with the latest products, trends and developments.
Among the games on display was Electrocoin’s Big Wheel that was developed with FECs, in mind, especially the Showmen and seaside locations.
Electrocoin’s John A Stergides told World’s Fair: “We are proud of the support shown for the Park Avenue Open Day; we had over 30 companies showing off some of their product lines.
“The sun was shining, the famous Greek BBQ was a hit, as was the ice cream truck. And in between everything, we managed to raise over £1,300 in the raffle for the day (thank you to all the companies who provided prizes), plus the contributions from the participating companies which is around £5,000, which will go to the BACTA Charitable Trust.
“We would like to thank our headline sponsor Novomatic for their support as well as all the other sponsors: GeWete, Blueprint, Reflex, Quixant, Boomerang, Innovative Technology, Genesis Games and Tom and Tandy Transport and, of course, the participating companies and all those who attended the event. We look forward to hosting it again in 2026.
“We were able to show some of our latest games, in particular the Big Wheel is perfect for FEC and travelling fairs, and it was a big hit.”
