Summer is over and the amusement industry is getting ready for the first show of autumn, IAAPA Europe – and exhibitor Electrocoin have some surprises in store.
With shows in London (EAG and ICE), Spain, Ireland, Italy and Dubai already under their belt, as well as their own Park Avenue Open Day, Electrocoin are gearing up for the next big event, IAPPA Expo Europe.
The show, which this year takes place in Vienna, Austria, is one that attracts many Showmen from across the UK as well as their European counterparts. More than 600 exhibitors will be presenting their games machines, rides, inflatables and numerous other products, among them Electrocoin who have a long tradition supplying Showmen with coin-op equipment.
“A real buzz”
Despite a difficult economy across Europe, with the Eurozone slipping into recession in Q1 of this year, the exhibitions Electrocoin have attended have been very positive, the firm’s John A Stergides told World’s Fair.
“There is a real buzz with more leisure areas opening up in Europe and many locations; if anything, they are investing to upgrade their machines at the beginning of the year or looking to add to their leisure options”, he said.
“We are looking forward to IAAPA Europe, which is usually a big highlight since they change country every year so it can bring new operators to the expos.”
As the first major show after the summer season, the event also provides an opportunity for the Electrocoin team to speak with operators and to learn which products have worked well.
Since they first started exhibiting at IAAPA Europe, Electrocoin have gradually taken a bigger stand as their portfolio of games has expanded. “We try our best to provide the top games for the market that stand out, which helps draw operators, especially in the knowledge that Electrocoin have been around for over 45 years providing excellent products and as per our slogan we do our best in Expanding the World of Play”, John A Stergides said.
New products
As well as showcasing their current strong line-up of amusement products, they’ll be exhibiting their latest titles for operators to try. Among their new products – and now in full production – will be the Rocket Launch, Magic 7 Key, and Treasure Alliance, all of which are popular with travelling Showmen and FEC operators, alongside the firm’s Skill Cut Winner, which will also be on display.
These will be complemented by some of Electrocoin’s other top products such as the Skill Shooter, Mr Do Air Balls, Mr Do Space Rocks, Roll A Ball, and Hoops Mania. We understand there will be a couple of new surprises on the stand too!
IAAPA Expo Europe runs from 26-28 September in Vienna – be sure to drop by Electrocoin on their stand B-1410. They’ll be ready to welcome you!
