IRN-BRU Carnival set for 104th year

The famous IRN-BRU Carnival returns this festive season at the SEC, Glasgow from the 22nd December 2023 – 14th January 2024.

Tickets for this hotly-awaited annual event are now on sale and already seeing a large appetite from the Glasgow public after last year’s successful run, the first full run since the pandemic.

This year’s show sees Darren and Deana Church from Yorkshire bringing their Super Trooper and King Sizzler Twist rides, with a number of other first-time additions.

Show organisers QD Events said: “We are delighted to confirm that Mitchell Wilmot’s brand-new Air Raid Extreme will be attending and for the kids, Wallis Hiscoe’s Samba Balloon Ride will be at the SEC for the first time – all exciting additional features.

The IRN-BRU Carnival takes place at the SEC, Glasgow from the 22nd December 2023 – 14th January 2024.

After the success of last year’s Autism Friendly sessions, these will return this year to help create an enjoyable experience for those with sensory issues. The theme day that featured children’s entertainers dressed as Disney and Marvel characters will also return, with the possibility of adding new themes over multiple days.
