This is the time of year we should have been celebrating the famous Newcastle Town Moor Hoppings fair, one of the biggest fairs in Europe.
Sadly, Newcastle Town Moor couldn’t be held this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Safety, as always, comes first.
Whilst we look forward to the 2021 fair, when no doubt the Freemen, Newcastle City Council and the showmen will pull out all the stops to put on a fantastic show, here’s a little reminder of the Hoppings 2019.
