Licensing Bill nearing completion, guests told at Scottish Section Luncheon

The Scottish Section Annual Luncheon took place at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel on Friday November 16, when guests were delighted to hear that Richard Lyle’s Bill on licensing would soon be ready to present to the Scottish Parliament.

NoFit State Circus’ Lexicon

Circus

The brand new production of NoFit State Circus’ Lexicon directed by Firenza Guidi opened its 2018 tour in Newcastle-under-Lyme, followed by dates at the Brighton Festival and Cardiff, before heading to France, with plans to take the show to Australia in October.

Ploughing match is a good way to close the season

A vintage ploughing contest is as good a way to round off the season’s jotting as any, I think, and so I popped along to Sidlesham on the Manhood Peninsula to take a dekko at the annual Chichester Ploughing Match, scheduled (as usual) for daylight saving day.
