Ice creams, Greek BBQ and a host of machines to sample as Electrocoin and UDC welcome visitors to their annual Park Avenue Open Day.
Positivity was in the air as Electrocoin and UDC threw open their doors to welcome suppliers and operators at their annual show, the coin op industry’s last show before the summer season.
The event is an opportunity for operators to try out the latest amusement and gaming products on display from manufacturers, to discuss business trends and industry news and catch up with colleagues before the summer gets fully underway.
This year’s event took place on 7 June and one of the hot topics of conversation was the White Paper [on gambling reform].
Around one hundred products from over 30 participating companies were on display – quite an achievement for a one-day event, considering the logistics and time involved in getting equipment to and from the venue.
Among Electrocoin’s own games on offer were their Mr Do Space Rocks, Rocket Launch, Treasure Alliance, Magic 7 Key and their All-in-One Bar X Tablet System with the Roulette offering.
Around 300 people, participants and visitors, attended the day, enjoying not only the games but the ever-popular full Greek BBQ and ice cream van – helpful given the weather, with up to 300 ice creams being consumed!
Also benefiting from the day was the bacta Charitable Trust, with monies raised through donations from participating companies and a raffle. Prizes for the raffle were donated by companies within the industry.
Electrocoin’s John A. Stergides told World’s Fair: “It was fantastic that so many companies and operators were able to participate and attend the Park Avenue Open Day.
“We want to thank the participating companies, the attendees and the sponsors.”
