The Amusement Devices Inspection Scheme would like to announce Carl Hagemann as its new General Manager to the fairground and theme park industry.
Carl Hagemann has a long-standing connection with fairground and theme parks as well as safety within the industry. He is a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner (CMIOSH) and has long established connections with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), local authorities and event organisers. This knowledge includes ADIPS working practices and its relationship with the Inspection Bodies and the way that the DOC’s (Declaration of Operational Compliance certification) process works and are understood by safety groups and other stakeholders.
Carl has also been a long-standing member of the Amusement Devices Safety Council (ADSC) and Events Industry Forum (EIF). All this knowledge and experience will mean that his integration will be consistent, smooth and seamless.
A first initial shoring has been the signing to a contract with the Polestar digital software system which inspection bodies use for recording the testing of fairground and theme park devices. This gives reassurance that ADIPS continues to be on a firm footing, looking forward with confidence to the future.
