The Hippodrome circus is finishing its final rehearsals for another edition of its hugely popular Halloween Spooktacular show, which opens Friday 21st October for just 10 days of shows.
Now in its 9th year, this spooky family show has been a firm favourite for thousands in the Norfolk area and promises a show full of laughs along with the thrills of circus stunts.
Family favourite Johnny Mac, who is now in his 13th year as star at The Hippodrome says it’s the perfect event for the whole family. “If you’re looking to have proper fun this Halloween then look no further. We’ve got a show full of spooky, silly laughs in an action-packed adventure show. We can’t wait!”
Johnny’s co-host and producer Jack Jay said “It’s always lots of fun to challenge ourselves in creating a different atmosphere in this amazing building with huge sets and props. This year it feels bigger than ever. Audiences are really immersed in the action”
The show itself sees comedy duo JACK JAY and JOHNNY MAC, as they embark on a hilarious spooky journey for the whole family. They will be joined by an amazing cast of stunning circus acts, dancers, and aerialists. All set amongst an immersive spooky backdrop, that encompasses the iconic hippodrome 360 arena.
Owner Peter Jay has been blown away by the response to ticket sales so far and is urging people to book early, saying “We’ve been so pleased with the response from our audiences. Since going on sale our box office has been inundated with calls and tickets are selling fast. There are still lots of great seats available.”
